Argiolas Is Solinas Carignano del Sulcis Riserva (2023) Sardinia, Italy

100% Carignano from sandy vineyards in Sulcis, close to the sea in southern Sardinia. Fully ripe fruit, a long maceration and a year in French oak give this more depth than the younger Argiolas reds. Blackberry, blueberry, herbs and spice with firm but polished tannin.
