00 Wines Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Epenots (2023) Burgundy, France

Pinot Noir from Clos des Épenots, one of Pommard’s better-known Premier Cru sites. Dark raspberry, violet and earth with the structure you’d expect from Pommard, but the 2023 is surprisingly supple and approachable. About a third whole cluster, with enough acidity and tannin to make a strong case for putting a few away.
