Gamay Noir from the granite-heavy part of Caraccioli’s Escolle Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Bright cherry, raspberry and violet with a little pepper and fine tannin. California Gamay that stays fresh rather than trying to make the grape bigger than it is.
