100% Nebbiolo from Serralunga d'Alba more specifically the single cru of Lazzarito. 20 year old southeastern facing vines the grapes are fermented and aged in a mixture of concrete vats and stainless steel for 6-8 months. Classic expression of Nebbiolo from the limestone laden soils of Serralunga d'Alba. Firm, powdery tannins with aromas of bright cherries and earth that are unmistakably Serralunga, but enjoyable at a young age.

Guido Porro is one of those under the radar producers in Barolo. Everyone that knows, knows and those who don't are totally missing the boat. Everything from his Langhe Nebbiolo to his top end bottlings of Vigna Rionda and his unique Lazzairasco are true expressions of the terroir of Serralunga d'Alba stripped down to be as transparent as possible highlighting the essence of what makes this village in Barolo so special. He employs traditional farming methods in the vineyards and has a delicate touch in the cellar sticking to traditional methods with simple equipment and techniques used by his family for generations.
