Luigi Oddero Barolo Convento (2018) Piedmont, Italy

Traditional Barolo from Luigi Oddero, made from Nebbiolo sourced mainly from La Morra. Native fermentation, about 25 days on the skins and two years in large Slavonian oak. Red cherry, rose, dried herbs and earth with firm tannin but a little less austerity than some of Oddero’s other Barolo.
