Luigi Tecce Poliphemo Vigne Vecchie Taurasi Riserva (2019) Campania, Italy

100% Aglianico from Tecce’s oldest vines in Taurasi, some over a century old. Organic farming, native yeast and long aging in chestnut and large wood. Black plum, wild cherry, herbs and tobacco with serious tannin and acidity. This is not the easy side of Aglianico, which is kind of the point.
