Luigi Tecce Puro Sangue Taurasi Riserva (2019) Campania, Italy

100% Aglianico from a higher-elevation Taurasi parcel, organically farmed and fermented with native yeast. The wine moves from open chestnut vats into 500-liter puncheons and large botti before a long rest in bottle. Dark berries, smoke, herbs and mineral notes with firm tannin and a lot of freshness underneath it.
