100% Cabernet Franc from Les Picasses, Olga Raffault’s old-vine clay-limestone site in Chinon. Organic farming, native yeast and a long maceration followed by aging in large neutral oak and chestnut. The 2018 has plenty of bottle age now—black cherry, cassis, earth and tobacco with settled but still present tannin.
