R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Reserva (2012) Rioja, Spain

Viña Tondonia Reserva from 2012, made from 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo. Six years in American oak with twice-yearly rackings and a long bottle rest give it dried cherry, flowers, leather and spice without losing the wine’s bright acidity.
