Rhys Horseshoe Vineyard Chardonnay (2018) Santa Cruz Mountains, California

Single-vineyard Chardonnay from Rhys’ Horseshoe Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Lemon confit, orchard fruit and tangerine sit over crushed stone, matchstick and a distinctly saline finish. Concentrated without feeling heavy, with the acidity and mineral edge to keep the 2018 very much alive.
