Xiaopu The Gathering MV7 (NV) Ningxia, China

A multi-vintage Ningxia red led by Syrah and Pinot Noir with Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Muscat, Marselan and Dunkelfelder. Red cherry and plum sit with flowers, herbs and a savory umami edge. Medium-bodied and low-intervention, with much more lift than the usual picture of Chinese red wine.
